Juho

Juho is endlessly patient and encouraging. I sometimes feel like the slowest learner in the history of time, but I never feel unduly judged or rushed. He consistently comes up with ways to help me develop and polish my Finnish.

Juho teaches me colloquial language, which is widely spoken rather than standard. Which makes lessons much valuable, considering the fact that it's almost impossible to find any courses apart from kirjakieli ones on the internet

As usual, the lessons with Juho are very smooth and satisfying. Juho is a great instructor to learn Finnish with. He's very patient, which is a key component to becoming a great teacher. Thanks again, Juho.

Recently I was asked in a community I'm in if I have considered working with other tutors to get a wider net of learning. There are a few reasons why the answer is no but primarily it is because Juho is such a thorough and engaging teacher all my spare time for learning is spent keeping up with the pace we have falling into. I don't mean this in a bad way at all, Juho pushes you to use the skills you have been developing without any sort of force. He understands the exact level I'm at and pushes me to new heights in an encouraging manner. With that said, I am so excited for the months of learning ahead and for many more fun, and funny (nauramme paljon) lessons.
