My teaching style is totally adaptable to each student’s needs and abilities - however you will find that I am consistent in correcting errors, pronunciation and even accent if required. This can be toned down if you prefer less corrections and just want to focus on fluency. I am also consistent in my lesson preparation and quality of teaching. You can expect to see a friendly face every time you enter the classroom, and I aim to provide a welcoming environment for you to learn, progress and most importantly, actually enjoy learning English. Since becoming a TEFL teacher, I've worked for a charity that teaches English to refugees and asylum seekers, I've taught private English lessons online and I've also worked in a boarding school where "English as an Additional Language" was part of the curriculum. There, I assisted another EAL teacher, taught 1-to-1 lessons, small group lessons and led full-class lessons when the main teacher was unable to do so. After this, over the summer, I was the EAL co-ordinator for a summer school. This involved providing resources and giving help to less experienced teachers at the camp, and resolving any issues that arose in the teaching department.
